Mission:

The Kelly Cortesi “Touch a Child” Foundation is inspired by Kelly Rose Cortesi’s tragically short, but beautiful and inspiring life. Kelly’s warmth, spirit, compassion and laughter were a gift and blessing to all who knew her throughout her 16 years. And through her death, Kelly continues to bless those beyond her immediate circle of family and friends with her gifts of organ donations.

Kelly’s family and friends have chosen to honor her memory and spirit in the establishment of a foundation that will touch and inspire the lives of children everywhere. The foundation’s objective is to:

• A scholarship to a Putnam Valley High School college bound senior who has achieved solid academics and has exhibited courage, integrity and compassion in actions and words
• An Irish dance scholarship to a needs-based child in the lower New York area, and
• A contribution to an organization that directly impacts children globally – one child at a time.
